A Wayfarer's Tale: The Journey Begins

Players lead travelling parties across personal maps, exploring locations, collecting treasure and facing monsters as they uncover new terrain. Turns proceed simultaneously while players draw from a shared pool of dice to recruit a companion whose abilities vary each game. Players use dice results to move, resolve encounters and populate spaces on their boards. The game ends immediately when a player reaches the final town on their map. Scoring combines towns visited, treasures recovered and monsters confronted to determine the highest total.
