Statistics

Your gaming life has numbers. See them.

1,074 plays become win rates, rivalries, an H-index and a calendar of covers — computed from the log you were keeping anyway.

The dashboard

One page, the whole record

Plays, hours, wins, distinct games, partners and locations — then the leaderboards: most played games, most played humans, and your H-index in both.

  • Honest win rate. 47% sits next to the 39% expected from the player counts you sat in — beating expectation is the real stat.
  • An H-index for games. 13 games played 13+ times: a one-number answer to “do you actually replay things?”
  • People are stats too. 735 shared plays with one partner is a friendship with a paper trail — social H-index included.

Head-to-head

The rivalry, itemised

Pick a rival and get the whole story: the overall score, win rates, hours, and the record in every game you share — the greens you own and the reds you don’t.

  • The headline number. 156–235. Some rivalries are aspirational.
  • Per-game splits. Losing Cascadia 11–16 while holding Rustling Leaves 10–5 is strategy information.
  • Fair maths. Co-ops, game-master seats and no-result plays stay out of win rates by design.
How win rates are computed
A month calendar with covers on play days — 19 plays and 33 hours, Ark Nova 3h 23m on the 27th

The calendar

Months you can browse like photo albums

Every day wears the covers of what hit the table, with the month’s totals underneath and every play one tap away.

  • Covers, not dots. An Ark Nova month looks like an Ark Nova month at a glance.
  • Receipts included. 19 plays, 33 hours — per month, per filter, per rival if you like.
  • Filters cut through. One game, one group, one location; the calendar and totals follow.

Ludoya Replay for July 2026: 36 plays, 43 hours, 10 games — let’s relive it

Replay

Stats that end in a highlight reel

Every month and year, the numbers become Ludoya Replay: an animated, shareable recap of plays, hours, games and the people across the table.

  • Wrapped, for the table. 36 plays, 43 hours, 10 games — July, animated.
  • Badges land as you play. Milestones arrive the moment you cross them; Replay gives them their moment.
  • Built to share. The share button is the point.

Getting started

The numbers build themselves

  1. Log plays

Twenty seconds each — or import years of history from BGG and BGA in one sync.

  2. Open Stats

Everything above exists from your first play; it gets interesting around your tenth.

  3. Pick a period, pick a rival

Lifetime to one day, whole log to one head-to-head. The maths is always current.

The stats exist for groups and events too — a club night has a dashboard of its own.

Your next play is a data point

Log it, and the win rate, the rivalry and the July recap all move.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the “expected” win rate?

The win rate your seats predicted: a four-player game gives each seat a 25% expectation. Beating your expected number means you win more than your player counts alone would explain — it is the honest version of “am I good?”.

What is an H-index for board games?

The largest N where you have played N different games at least N times each. An H-index of 13 means thirteen games with thirteen-plus plays — a measure of depth, not just volume. The social version does the same with people.

Do co-op games count in my win rate?

No — cooperative plays, game-master seats and plays without results are excluded from win-rate maths, so a Pandemic phase doesn’t inflate or sink your number.

Can I see stats for just one game or one group?

Yes — every game has your personal stats page, every group and event has its own dashboard, and the calendar and totals accept filters for game, group and location.

Can I compare any period?

Lifetime, a year, a month, thirty days, a single day, or a custom range — the whole dashboard recomputes for whatever slice you pick.

My history is on BGG. Does it count?

Yes — imported BGG and BGA plays land in your log and feed every statistic, so ten years of history arrives with its numbers already computed.

Who can see my stats?

Whoever you decide: stats visibility follows your profile settings — anyone, friends, group-mates or nobody.
