Each player uses a flipbook to plot and reveal maneuvers for specific planes—here featuring the Fokker DVII and the SPAD XIII—with alternate statistics included for additional fighters. The book set introduces a different maneuver set than another series in the line, enabling new tactical match-ups and varied aerial engagements. Play emphasizes choosing and matching maneuvers, anticipating an opponent’s moves, and resolving resulting positional and combat outcomes.
