Aetaltis Bestiary Collection: Trench Crawler
Trench crawlers are deadly deep-sea predators that move along reefs and the rocky walls of ocean trenches in search of prey. Once they find a hunting ground, they anchor themselves with hooked limbs and lash out with the others, impaling anything within reach. The creature maintains at least one hook in the rock while its victim struggles, waiting for exhaustion or blood loss to finish the hunt.
