Age of Steam Expansion: The Alps
An expansion that moves the action into a mountainous region and introduces three-dimensional elements to the board. Players place stickered tunnel pieces and use the included box to represent mountain terrain, creating new passageways and routing challenges. Gameplay retains the core rail-network mechanics while adding map-specific constraints and opportunities from tunnels and elevation. Two modular maps use the box terrain concept to change track placement and route planning, forcing adaptation of building and delivery strategies.
