This 112-page hardback campaign book expands a swashbuckling roleplaying game of courtly intrigue and eldritch horror. Players can continue as Musketeers or take the roles of agents in the Cardinal’s spy network, undertaking missions against cults, monsters, and impossible foes. The book includes pregenerated characters, rules for creating and managing agents, allies, enemies, monsters, new spells and artefacts, and statistics for 17th-century artillery. Its four-part campaign sends the agents to storm the Bastille, confront the cannons of La Rochelle, and rescue the King from the Château d’If. The content is compatible with the previous campaign and its characters.
