Players follow a branching narrative of 593 entries, investigate locations, and make decisions that lead to sub-adventures and varied outcomes. A location system allows free movement between programmed story tracks, while calendars and expenditure records track the race against time. A special pyramid-search insert, trace numbers for backtracking, and removable investigator sheets support play.
