Arctic Front: Battle for Norway
Simulates a Cold War-era Soviet assault into northern Scandinavia and NATO efforts to defend Norway and nearby territories. Players maneuver Soviet Leningrad Front units—including airborne, airlanding, marine, and arctic-equipped formations—against NATO and allied forces from the U.S., Britain, Canada and regional defenders. Movement and combat reflect constrained coastal approaches, open border plains for flanking through Finnish Lapland, and mountainous Arctic sectors that favor defense. Neutral Finland and Sweden have variable interactions: Finland may permit transit or resist, while Sweden defends its territory and can optionally contribute expeditionary forces. Optional rules link this map to neighboring fronts, allowing strategic reinforcement decisions that trade strength between theaters.
