Ascension: Return of the Fallen – Kythis, the Gatekeeper Promo

A promo monster that occupies the center row and hides the top card of the center deck beneath it when it appears. It costs 7 power to defeat and awards 5 Honor plus acquiring or defeating the hidden card if defeated while in the center row. Different interactions depend on the type of card under it: Event cards are banished when the monster is defeated, but if the monster is banished the Event attempts to enter the center row instead. Fate cards do not trigger when the monster is defeated, but they do trigger if the monster is banished. Special handling applies if a Rat Queen and Giant Rats enter the center row while this monster is in play: the reward card is set aside during the shuffle and returned under the monster when the covering Giant Rat is removed.
