ASL Comp: To The Volga! 1 – Fight for the Tractor Works
Taking the Stalingrad experience into the depths of the Dzerhezinsky Tractor Works, this ASL-compatible module covers the German assault in September and October 1942. Players fight through factories, rubble, shellholes, buildings, and gullies leading to the Volga, with German forces using flamethrowers, demolition charges, and close combat against stubborn Soviet defenders. The defenders fortify positions, establish crossfires, and use sewers to infiltrate behind the attackers. Eleven scenarios range from small engagements to larger battles; an optional Winter Map expansion adds a winterised map and four scenarios covering Soviet counterattacks in December 1942 and January 1943. Requires the Advanced Squad Leader rulebook and Beyond Valor.
