Background & Details Kit 2: Fantasy Edition
A fantasy character background toolkit for players developing characters and GMs creating more believable NPCs. Tables are organized into quick, detailed, and life-event sections, covering basics such as age, gender, species, profession, and personality, along with appearance, clothing, voice, family, fears, motivations, secrets, and flaws. Life-event tables trace major experiences from birth through adulthood and, when needed, the character’s death. Results can be combined to create unusual or seemingly conflicting backgrounds, with tables also covering hometowns, facial features, parents, phobias, professions, skin, and more.
