Backgrounds: Curse of Strahd
This supplement provides 11 character backgrounds for campaigns set in Barovia. Each background gives a character a personal history, identity, and purpose within the cursed realm, along with suggested characteristics, ideals, bonds, and flaws. The backgrounds also provide narrative hooks for exploring Barovia’s lore and developing character-driven subplots. Dungeon Masters can use them to connect player characters to the setting and support individual story arcs throughout the campaign.
