Band of Brothers: Old Breed South Pacific

A fast-playing squad-level World War II combat game covering the U.S. First Marine Division in the battles for Guadalcanal. The system uses simple rules with no combat charts and includes infantry, tanks, and artillery. A variable suppression mechanic lets fire accumulate before a unit is required to make a morale check, while proficiency and casualty ratings distinguish squads beyond morale. Ranged fire pins down enemy troops, and players must use fire and maneuver to close in and eliminate them.
