Barsoom (fan expansion for Ticket to Ride)
This unofficial fan-made expansion transports the route-building game to Barsoom, the Mars of Edgar Rice Burroughs’ novels and the film John Carter. It uses the train pieces and cards from a US or Europe base game on a dedicated map with special cards and rules. Players claim routes between Martian cities, complete destination tickets, and collect explorer cards by visiting cities. Challenge cards can help or hinder progress, while bonus cards provide additional points. Optional rules allow players to exchange or redraw cards, earn extra points, and call time when their wagon stock is reduced to three pieces, potentially preventing opponents from completing their tickets.
