Battle For Abbaye Des Ardenne: The First Step to Caen

This seven-scenario pack covers Canadian and British attacks against German SS and Panzergrenadier forces around Caen, Normandy, on 8 July 1944. Scenarios range from village assaults and advances under artillery and mortar fire to attacks on fortified positions, including the Abbaye des Ardennes command post. Players command infantry, machine guns, anti-tank guns, artillery, and armored carriers across two to four boards, with overlays and scenarios lasting seven to ten turns. The battles feature large forces and objectives including St. Contest, Buron, Authie, Cussy, and the abbey.
