The heroes begin a campaign while fleeing across the Cairnlands after a caravan ambush. With exhausted horses and a band of marauders in pursuit, they must find refuge before they are overtaken. This introductory adventure follows their escape and their efforts to survive the consequences of killing the marauder chief’s son.
