Blood Red Skies: Soviet Ace Pilot – Lev 'Sokol' Shestakov
Unassembled and unpainted 1/200 Polikarpov I-16 aircraft miniature representing Soviet ace pilot Lev Shestakov, with stat cards. Shestakov served with Republican forces in Spain before flying on the Odessa front during Operation Barbarossa, where his regiment fought German and Romanian forces. He later converted to the LaGG-3 and continued flying until his death in 1944.
