Drawn to a town square by terrified screams, the adventurers find a pale figure in embroidered robes feeding on a young man while other townsfolk wait in a dazed state. Floodwaters have driven the creature from the sewers, trapping it beneath the shadow of a towering monument. This one-page adventure for 5th Edition focuses on leadership, negotiation, and finding a way to resolve the confrontation without fighting while outnumbered and outflanked.
