Castles of Mad King Ludwig: Expansions

A collection of modular expansions that add new room types, scoring options, player powers and components to the base castle-building game. Players place and replace tiles, collect tokens, and arrange rooms to satisfy placement rules while pursuing varied endgame goals. Add-on modules let players renovate existing rooms with double-room overlays, build towers for extra end-game rewards, surround layouts with moats for victory points, create secret passages for connection bonuses, and gather swan tokens for money or points. The set also introduces royal decrees that grant asymmetric powers, new favor and bonus cards for more scoring variety, and an option to include a fifth player. Components work independently or in combination and are compatible with the second edition.
