Castles of Mad King Ludwig: Renovations
Players place double room tiles to expand and renovate a castle board, creating larger connected rooms and optimizing placement for points. Each renovation tile counts as two room spaces when completed, doubles completion rewards, and can satisfy favors and objectives more quickly. Gameplay follows the base-game mechanics of tile drafting, placement, and scoring, with a variety of renovation sizes that change spatial planning and scoring opportunities. This standalone Renovations set is available in versions that match different base-game editions, including a specific version for the Colossal Edition.
