Cavern of the Star Shard (BF)
A fallen star crashes into the hills near a quiet barony, triggering strange events that drive animals and people mad. Adventurers investigate the disturbances and descend into dangerous crystalline caverns, facing combat, environmental hazards, and original creatures such as starmarked beasts. Encounters change in response to the party’s choices and discoveries, and the adventure introduces the Star Shard magic item. Designed for five characters of 5th level, it supports a 4–6 hour one-shot, side quest, or campaign interlude.
