Chronicles of Crime: Cryptid Cases

A 1990s small-town mystery about strange sightings in the woods, presented as an investigation by the FBI’s Paranormal Division. Players work solo or cooperatively to interview witnesses, collect evidence, and piece together whether folklore hides a real threat. An app drives scenarios, supplies timed events, and records clues while players explore locations, interrogate suspects, and test leads. Each case plays as a standalone chronicle with its own rules and objectives. Time pressure and limited information force prioritization and hypothesis testing as players distinguish rumor from reality.
