DC Deck-Building Game: Crossover Pack 13 – The Death and Return of Superman

A crossover pack that recreates the '90s Death and Return of Superman saga using Chapter cards to unfold the story over a single game. Players start without Characters and use deck-building to recruit Heroes, destroy cards, and manipulate Character lines as Chapters advance. Chapter 1 tracks the fall of Superman and secretly assigns Character cards to later Chapters; Chapter 2 creates a Recruitable Character Line-Up during the funeral; Chapter 3 presents competing Supermen effects and a Regeneration Matrix that lets players recruit returning Characters and ultimately bring Superman back. Card destruction and recovery are central mechanics, and players gain rewards and abilities by recruiting from other players’ teams and timing destructions to generate Power for the final confrontation.
