Deluxe Advanced Squad Leader
This boxed wargame presents eight full-color geomorphic mapboards with urban and countryside terrain, plus eight overlay sheets and 38 scenarios built for play on the larger 2.2" hex scale. Units, markers and informational counters sit side-by-side in roomy hexes so stacking is unnecessary; some markers are made redundant by unit placement and many counters can be placed beside units to avoid obscuring them. The set collects and updates scenarios from previous out-of-print releases, provides repainted and tri-fold-style boards, and adds multiple rubble and terrain overlay sheets to support varied scenario design. Play focuses on tactical squad-level combat with movement, firing, and terrain effects resolved on the expanded hex grids.
