Descent into Madness: First Steps
A fantasy mega-dungeon lies beneath the Sunken Fort, connected to the ordinary world by a tenuous stone staircase. This chaotic underworld contains alien creatures, unstable magic, strange forms of order, and hidden treasures. Characters explore a collection of smaller dungeons joined within a pocket universe, while the GM can use the setting as a route between worlds or connect it to other adventures. The passage is said to offer safer travel than unpredictable portals and extra-dimensional entities.
