Descent: Journeys in the Dark (Second Edition) – Nature's Ire

Players cooperate as a band of heroes investigating the disappearance of a village’s people and escorting a lone survivor through a haunted forest. The game replaces the overlord role with an automated system and a randomized Exploration deck that reveals new areas, encounters, and objectives as the session progresses. Players explore expanding map sections, resolve combats against monsters and environmental hazards, collect loot and experience, and advance through a single-session mini-campaign.
