Djinn Plant
An invasive plant species initially resembles a harmless flytrap, but grows larger and more intelligent as it consumes food. Once sufficiently advanced, it secretly contacts a humanoid individual and promises to fulfill their desires in exchange for a steady supply of flesh and blood from the same species. It serves as an adversary for spacefaring settings, where exposure to vacuum is only one of the dangers.
