Donning the Purple: Votes & Virtue expansion
An expansion adds a General role with a unique player mat and introduces a fourth player, who begins as the General. If the General gains enough support among the legions, they can be proclaimed emperor. A new Senate phase lets players use their senators to vote on decisions affecting the empire. The heir receives an additional player mat with a unique action, and new cards add further challenges and possibilities for the ruling emperor.
