Dungeon Fighter: Second Edition – Promo Hero: King Gilford
A promotional April Fool hero originally released in 2023. The character presents a royal, ocean-themed persona and is tuned around fighting Humans and manipulating the leader role. In play, attacks against Human-type monsters gain a large damage bonus while other types get a small bonus. A special dodge mechanic causes no incoming damage and inflicts 2 damage when an attack misses. Leadership-focused effects grant extra damage when hitting as the current leader, and allow a missed attack to claim the leader token and recover 1 life when not the leader.
