This setting presents a savage world transformed by the Great Catastrophe, which destroyed much of the Ancients’ civilization. Players create and portray heroes exploring the ruins, confronting factions such as the Cloud Raiders, Steel Legion, Mind Lords, and Sea Dogs, and dealing with mutants shaped by the catastrophe. Adventures involve discovering Ancient Artifacts, determining how they work, and surviving in a changed world or bringing modern superheroes into it.
