The new cards represent fleeting sensory or event-driven beats—brief encounters, ambient details, or unusual predator traits—that insert small, scene-setting twists into the ongoing journey. Players draw and resolve these moments as they traverse the path, making narrative choices and applying temporary attachments that alter immediate decisions and story texture.
