In Festum, capital of Bornland, humans and goblins share the city, though the goblin quarter remains marked by prejudice. When a goblin is murdered and the city guard is too overburdened to investigate, the adventurers take up the case on behalf of a conscientious constable. Their investigation leads through the Redfur community and reveals a serial killer targeting the goblins of Festum. The adventure is a city-based detective story for inexperienced to competent heroes.
