While the empress and her court focus on the conflict in Almada, unrest spreads through the Greifenmark in spring 1034 BF. The heroes become entangled in ancient oaths and new feuds involving old nobility, warlords of the Wildermark, Orcish collaborators, and a sinister power from the Finsterkamm. What begins as courtly intrigue escalates into bloody battles that threaten Lichthag and the entire Markgraviate.
