Elder Sign: Omens of the Deep

Players sail aboard a doomed vessel into the Pacific to confront aquatic horrors drawn from Lovecraftian lore. This cooperative expansion adds a two-stage R’lyeh Rising mode where investigators advance along a Dark Waters track and then collect amulet fragments to prevent an Ancient One from awakening. Players resolve Pacific Adventure cards, face waves of Deep Ones and new Ancient Ones, and use mission tokens for rewards while rolling dice, assigning abilities, and managing investigator conditions. Scenarios emphasize progression across both exploration and assembly phases rather than isolated museum encounters, integrating with the base game’s dice-resolution and investigator-management mechanics.
