One random village is in play, providing all players with shared effects: each player starts with 15 crystals but loses 1 at the start of each turn, may pay 2 crystals during a fight to gain 1 strength, gains 5 crystals while resting, and earns 1 victory point at the end of the game for every 5 crystals held.
