Explorers
Players build a route from their starting village across a personal landscape of grasslands, water, desert and mountains by marking spaces on a player board. Each turn an exploration card reveals two terrain types; the active player chooses one and marks three orthogonally connected spaces ahead of their current location, while opponents either mark two spaces on that terrain or three on the other type. Marked spaces can grant special actions, provisions, gems or keys. Over four rounds players expand their map, use keys to access temples, place a universal map marker to fill any terrain, and score points from gems, provisions and temple control. The game includes a solo mode and advanced task tiles for increased variety.
