Fearsome Critters of the Woodlands
A monster sourcebook for the Dungeon Crawl Classics Role-Playing Game, featuring strange creatures from North American folklore. The entries draw on tales of remote mountains, forests, lumber camps, mines, and wilderness communities, leaving players to determine which stories describe real threats and which are merely tall tales. The creatures can be used in Western, Appalachian, post-apocalyptic, or traditional fantasy settings, and introduced wherever unusual woodland encounters fit the adventure.
