Flames of War: Ostfront – Eastern Front 1942-1943
This setting covers the Eastern Front from 1942 to 1943, as German and Allied forces face increasingly determined Soviet counterattacks following the halt of the initial Blitzkrieg. The conflict expands as Axis reinforcements arrive and newly raised Soviet divisions launch offensives across the front. The book provides army organizations for 13 German company types and variants, 12 company types for Finnish, Hungarian, Italian, and Romanian forces, and 13 Soviet battalion types and variants. It also includes campaign and Allied histories, color photographs, artwork, and painting and modeling guides.
