This sourcebook explores the daily life and history of the commoner Kithain, from the era before the Shattering through the Interregnum and into the modern age. It details tensions between commoners and nobles following the disappearance of High King David, including the growing threat of revolution and Shadow Court influence. It includes guidance for playing commoner characters, new Merits, Flaws, and Treasures, and two new commoner kith: the Spiggan and the Piskies. The book also serves as the first installment in the Year of the Reckoning series.
