GURPS Martial Arts: Fairbairn Close Combat Systems
This GURPS supplement examines the close-combat methods developed by William Ewart “Dan” Fairbairn, whose work influenced police, military, and intelligence organizations during the first half of the 20th century. It expands the historical background on Fairbairn and his contemporaries, presents Defendu in full GURPS terms, and revisits Fairbairn Close Combat Training. The supplement also includes a complete style template for Fairbairn-Sykes handgun shooting, along with optional rules for using firearms in close combat. Its material supports settings ranging from 1920s Shanghai and World War II espionage to modern SWAT operations.
