Horrific Fears
A Pathfinder-compatible sourcebook for adding darker fantasy and horror elements to roleplaying sessions. It provides optional rules for fear, terror, horror, and extreme madness, along with systems for character health, mortality, constitution, wounds, and injury penalties. The book uses flexible templates to modify the core rules and includes Madness Points for tracking long-term insanity. These mechanics make dangerous encounters more threatening while supporting roleplaying consequences from hazardous adventures.
