I, Napoleon: The Limits of Glory

This solo biographical card expansion places the player in the role of a late-18th/early-19th-century French commander and explores alternate paths from 1793 through 1821. It introduces new event, commander, lover, political ally and enemy cards that increase strategic complexity and lengthen playtime. Political Points become more consequential for managing unrest between Jacobins and Royalists, the Spanish campaign gains new Expedition cards, and Portugal’s royal family becomes an active factor on the map. Players can pursue high-risk strategic operations such as a march on Constantinople or an expedition toward India, and late-war options now include escape to America with implications involving historical figures and new diplomatic or military outcomes.
