Take on the role of a Victorian naturalist who continues exchanging letters with Charles Darwin as On the Origin of Species nears publication. Play centers on gaining support from historical figures, making discoveries, and advancing scientific work through new components: publication tokens, classification tokens, and envelope tokens. New characters such as Emma Darwin and Queen Victoria offer additional interactions and effects that alter available actions and scoring.

Mohasz8.1 Outstanding little expansion. Make no mistake, it does not make the game something robust, it’s still a lightweight filler / gateway game aimed towards families, so if that’s not your thing, this expansion won’t change your mind. But I love the clever ways they improved the parts of the base game that were kinda flat before, and while doing so, they somehow managed to keep everything smooth and seamless. Key improvements: - Darwin figure is now much more intereting. - Ability to place a 2nd tile on your turn (happens 1-3 times in a game with the envelope tokens) allows for some light comboing and a more satisfying game end. - Completing a column / row is now more interesting / rewarding with the advanced publication tokens. - Classification tokens can give you a direction for which tiles to pick, and they’re satisfying to complete.
