In the Shade of the Pango Tree
A Fighting Fantasy micro-adventure set in the borderlands between the Mauristatian foothills and the plains of Lendleland. After fleeing an attack by nomad horsemen, the adventurer wakes to find the other mercenaries missing, with bloodstains leading toward a lone tree on a grassy hill. Using a pencil, an eraser, dice, and an Adventure Sheet, players read the rules, record their character’s details, and make choices as they investigate the fate of their comrades and uncover the danger beneath the tree.
