Kodachi

Players take the role of hired operatives in 12th‑century Japan, aiming to steal treasures and restore their patrons’ honor. Each turn, players raid guarded sites and confront guards using one of two approaches: strength by playing cards higher than the guard, or stealth by playing cards lower than the guard. Acquired treasures provide resources that generate rumors, bribe envoys, and upgrade abilities. Clan tokens are claimed by playing envoys; when the last clan token is taken, the player with the highest score wins.
