In the kingdom of Kumari, death moves through the streets in daylight. Mummified figures known as the Fallen perform manual labor while living residents emerge at dusk and conduct their daily lives. As the party learns of the Queen’s frustration with a city-state across the bay, guards reveal that she seeks outsiders to undertake a task Kumari’s people cannot.
