A detailed operational simulation of the 1815 campaign around Mont St. Jean/Belle Alliance that models the variables behind the Battle of Waterloo. Players command French, Anglo-Allied, and Prussian forces on a hex map at 100 m per hex and 20 minutes per game turn, maneuvering regimental- and brigade-sized units (50–100 men per strength point). The boxed Deluxe set provides four large maps, organizational displays, multiple counter sheets, and separate standard and special rulebooks with charts and tables. Gameplay focuses on corps-level movement, combat resolution, command and control effects, and timing of reinforcements as players recreate or explore alternate outcomes of the historic engagement.
