Players create adventurers who seek escape, treasure, and glory in other realms, confronting forgotten forces more dangerous than civilization itself. This core rulebook contains the rules for character creation, adventuring, combat, magic, and other aspects of play. It forms the player-focused volume of a two-book set; a separate referee book provides guidance for creating and running campaigns and adventures.
