Set in 15th-century Germany, the game follows investigators seeking a powerful bishop and his illegitimate son after an insidious witch takes revenge against them. Players travel dangerous roads, facing outlaws, traitorous rebels, and strange creatures drawn from folklore while attempting to prevent the witch from striking again.
