Players take on the roles of famous heroes and villains from the Three Kingdoms era and use a hand of cards to attack, defend, and trigger special abilities tied to characters and kingdoms. Gameplay centers on playing timed action cards (attacks, heals, cancels and equipment), managing limited health, and leveraging unique character powers and weapon effects. Roles and allegiances shape victory conditions and diplomatic interactions, while card exchange and cancellation create tactical layers of cooperation and deception. Rounds proceed with players taking turns counter-clockwise, drawing and playing cards to eliminate opponents or fulfill role-specific goals until a winning faction remains.
